NEW! Debut Album
Fancies: Early 20th Century Music for Saxophone and Piano
My passion for early 1900s saxophone history has led me to record with pianist James Lent an album of works and transcriptions by Rudy Wiedoeft, Charles Dornberger, Jascha Gurewich, Clyde Doerr, and Merle Johnston. I first heard the saxophone music of this era during my undergraduate studies, and was influenced to change my focus in music from composition to performance. Ever since, I have continued to research the composer/performers of the time, and collect their recordings and sheet music. I am very excited to share this music that has so greatly influenced my life.
